Chicken Island
Chicken Island
Chicken Island, also known as Koh Kai, Koh Gai, or Koh Hua Khwan, is a small and uniquely shaped island located just south of Poda and Tup Islands, about a 30-minute longtail boat ride from Krabi’s west coast. It gets its popular name, “Chicken Island,” from a large rock formation that distinctly resembles a chicken’s head and neck, making it a recognizable local landmark. One side of the island features steep cliffs covered in lush vegetation, while the other side offers a beautiful, serene beach—a must-visit for anyone exploring the stunning Krabi coastline.
